The Heart of Shanti Cabana
Shanti Cabana is dedicated to promoting healing, mindfulness, and compassionate living through Buddhist counselling, spiritual care, and holistic wellbeing practices. Grounded in the timeless wisdom of the Buddha’s teachings, it offers a sanctuary for those seeking inner peace, clarity, and balanced wellbeing.
We see healing not simply as the reduction of distress, but as a gradual unfolding of wisdom, compassion, and deeper connection with ourselves and others. Our work is shaped by the belief that every individual has the capacity for healing, growth, and transformation when met with understanding, presence, and respectful support.
Our mission
Our mission is to relieve suffering and cultivate enduring compassion through the integration of spiritual insight and psychological understanding. Inspired by the Four Noble Truths, we recognize suffering as part of human life, and seek to support people in understanding its causes, meeting it with awareness, and discovering pathways towards freedom, meaning, and wholeness.
Through mindful guidance, reflective practice, and compassionate accompaniment, we aim to create a safe and non‑judgmental environment where people can explore their challenges, rediscover their strengths, and move towards greater balance and resilience.
Our vision
Our vision is to grow a spiritually grounded community where wisdom and compassion work hand in hand to support healing and growth. Inspired by the Noble Eightfold Path, we hope to encourage awareness, ethical living, mindful presence, and a way of relating that brings greater harmony to personal life, relationships, and the wider community.
As we continue developing Shanti Cabana, our long‑term aspiration is build a community rooted in generosity, shared practice, and accessible care. We hope to offer not only individual support, but a living community where people can learn, heal, and grow together.
Our philosophy of practice
Our approach rests on the balance of compassion and wisdom — acknowledging suffering clearly, without judgment, and responding with empathy, patience, and mindful presence. We weave together contemplative practices and evidence‑informed psychological care, seeking to honor both spiritual insight and the practical realities of everyday life.
We understand healing as a shared journey. Whether someone comes for counselling, meditation, yoga, hypnotherapy, spiritual reflection, or simply a sense of belonging, we hope they encounter a space where pain can be gently transformed into insight, and where mindfulness becomes a living force for compassionate action.
